ACE250 - One of new models of ruler ACE. ACE150 and 250 has replaced the previous number ACE of detectors, appearance and elements of management of the detector has essentially changed.

ACE 250 copes by means of 6 buttons of management. Power, Pinpoint, Elimination, Mode, Sensitivity and Discrimination. ACE250 has LCD the display which provides the user with the necessary information both by search and at detector adjustment, also as well as the information on the found out purpose, including:
Target ID: One of 12 segments identifies that was revealed.
Target Depth: Shows approximate depth of the found out object in inches; that is, 2, 4, 6 or 8
Condition of batteries: an icon of a condition of batteries.
Sensitivity: Specifies the level, used sensitivity in limits from (1 minimum) to (8 maximum)
Operating mode: Specifies, what is chosen from 5 possible programs of search.
ACE250 Has five independent programs of search: All Metal, Jeweliry, Relics, Coins and Custom. A discriminator segment; that is, what types of metal are accepted to search or all these programs are rejected, of course, have the approximate characteristic on type, the most optimum if you are going to use search programs, it, to create the program on point Custom. The discriminator segment can be easily changed in any of 5 programs, but, changes only in mode Custom if you switch off the detector will remain. The discriminator is completely independent on all to 12 segments, that is, you can accept or reject any type or all 12 certain segments of the discriminator which is available on LCD the display.
ACE250 Eats from four (4) AA batteries which provide continuous work between 40 and 50 o'clock, actually, in total I worked about 32 hours on my test detector, and indication of a condition of batteries still showed 2 of 4 sticks on the indicator! The truth all aforesaid concerns batteries Duracell or Energaiser. Cheap Polish or Chinese batteries die through 10-12 business hours, and even earlier. Field tests
After some test for air we have gone to wood, into place where we spend the majority of tests for detectors, there is at us one place on which there is a soil, both an average mineralization, and high. We carried out the additional test in an unfamiliar place, not the platform test. So Garrett has not shown something new, all system Target ID remains the old checked up technology from Garrett. Certainly, she is mistaken, as however, and all detectors, but more less productive search to conduct probably, is present as also the sound discriminator so on coins (nonferrous metal) the sound is published more similar to a call, and ferrous metals are signalled by a simple sound, hoarse that helps by search enough not badly.
